ok, so the only reason I got this livejournal thingymajiggy was because I wanted to post on . I mean, I already have an online journal. Didn't need another on. But then I have these HP pics to post and I figured I may as well stick them in here.
If you haven't seen the Potter Puppet Pals, then you really gotta see it. It's fricken hilarious. I'd give you the address, but seeing as I'm not on my own comp right now, you'll have to settle for doing a search on Google. It's not that hard.
And I did this one because any avatar of Alastor Moody, really needs to have that eye going crazy like it's supposed to.
This one I did because I was having fun with photoshop. Never really had much of an idea of what I could do with photoshop other than touching up a photo and cropping pictures. So I decided to explore.
edit - ok, scrap that idea apparently. This comp doesn't have one of those ftp thingy's for me to upload to my webhost and it's too big to upload to my image host. Maybe I'll remember to post it when I get my net going again.
Well, I suppose it's about time I add something else to this thing.
Since mucking about in Photoshop making Potterpuff bookmarks and icons, I've been having ideas for other things. And since I can't post non-Potterpuff stuff at , I figured I may as well make use of this journal. Don't know who'll find them, but I suppose Google will find this entry in about 10 million years. Isn't the sun supposed to implode about then?

OK, so this entry’s a bit late. Anyhows, the other week on the radio we’ve been discussing what can be done to make people slow down in school zones during school hours. I think the main problems are either people don’t know when school is on (but actually that’s a pretty lame excuse because the hours are marked on the signs and school holidays are only few in between.) or there are the people that just don’t care. Every day that I’m on the road it amazes me how many drivers have so little regard for road rules.
But that’s not what this entry is about. This is about the time on Friday 19th May at about quarter past three in the afternoon. See, I go through 6 school zones on my way home from work and at the school zone somewhere on the King George’s road in Wiley Park I was pleased to see that everyone slowed down to the designated speed. It was such a nice sight to see. Not one person was zigzagging through all the other drivers.
Anyway, I just wanted to say how pleased I was with everyone.
Which took forever actually. I don't know why my computer hates Quizilla so much, but everything takes ages to load from there.

On the radio this morning, one of the announcers said that she had been to Graceland and, in her opinion, it was something that everyone should do. Personally, I don't see the point. I myself am not a huge Elvis fan. Sure I don't mind some of his songs, but there's no way that I'm ever going to attempt to watch one of his movies.
But even if I was a big fan of Elvis, do I really need to go to his home? This guy has been dead for nearly 30 years. I loved Richard Harris's work, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be booking a plane to England to see his home. Of course, you can't really compare the two; Elvis has such a huge following.
I just still don't see the need to go to a dead person's home, celebrity or no.
I've never really understood the way some people are with celebrities. Do you really need to completely lose your head when confronted with your favourite movie star in the street? I've read stories where celebrities are interrupted and such inconvenient times. One I believe was asked for an autograph while on a toilet and passed a paper and pen under the cubicle wall.
What is it about celebrities that make people behave in a manner that they wouldn't think of doing to their best friend?
The one and only time I met someone who I would consider famous, I did feel a little disbelief, but I managed to act rather normal. She walked around the group hugging and kissing people on the cheek and when she got to me, I returned the hug and kiss and managed to not scream or squeal nor even jump up and down while shouting 'HOORAY!'
Am I the odd one out? Please tell me there are others out there in the world that manage to act the same as they normally would when confronted with someone famous.
ok, so I'm finally working my way through all my ideas notes and two ideas were for Potterpuff icons. One was a 'WANTED' style poster and the other... well, I'll have to explain for those who aren't familiar with the ad. One of the pizza chains came out with a puff pastry style pizza and their campaign included having the word 'puff' as a new slang word supposedly meaning cool, wicked, etc. They'd have people saying things like 'This is puff!' Well, despite detesting the whole ad campaign, I thought it'd be something good for Naomi's PotterPuffs. So here they are;
