Kampot pepper, the well-known brand for Cambodia’s pepper, remains a major Exported product of Cambodia
In 2016, only 60 tons of Kampot pepper (white, red and black) were exported, while the demand for the pepper is high, an estimated 200 tons from the EU, and over 100 tons from the U.S., Korea and Japan, underlined the Kampot Pepper Promotion Association President.
