Universe I have an interest in the universe, space, and science. Sometimes when I see one of my photographs that would look like an interesting universe photo, I go after it.

I always found it unpleasant, however, and often distasteful, to allow the figures to remain within the bounds of physiological laws, and at the same time indulge in compositional distortions. It seemed to me that if one physical realm is destroyed for the sake of pictorial necessity, then the artist has the artistic right and the artistic duty to negate the other physical realms as well.
