THANK YOUUU I'll doodle it later sadly!!! But I just wanna say I really appreciate this ask bc I'm literally applying myself onto Purple (& Orchid)! I'm Torajan too and I just wanna put that onto them heheheh.

I have a lot of ideas regarding Purple, aside from projecting my usual day to day life- I also think that Purple had very specific experiences inspired by my own as a child;

Back then, as a kid, Purple would watch OVJ (Opera Van Java) on the small television in the shared bedroom with his mom back then. They'd laugh together over it to a point it hurt their stomachs and sometimes Purple's mom explained to him about certain jokes because Purple wasn't well versed with bahasa Jawa (dan iirc Sunda, i remember there being a mix huehue...)

I forgot when they'd play, for some reason I always thought they'd play after Subhu but I think I'm remembering wrong. I just know it was night, wiki says it was 19:30 WIB ish.

Anyways, Purple was very fond of the show because it was one of the best moments where he spent time with his mom. His dad was... A different story lah. Its complicated but dude's a sour bum, hate his guts.

It's a very specific experience and I think people also know it too bc OVJ was(is) popular and god I couldn't help but laugh watching old episodes to a point I got so lightheaded. I think aside from OVJ I also watched Running Man too that came out a few years after, thanks to my mom.

I'm getting nostalgic now, aweeee
