Expressions from the Sole Workshop Invites Teens to Share Their Stories Through Art"The Washington City Arts Council is lacing up for creativity with Expressions from the Sole, a hands-on art workshop for teens that blends storytelling, self-reflection, and wearable art. The event takes place on Thursday, June 26 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sullivan Park Fish Pond Pavilion in Washington, UT.Led by acclaimed regional visual artist Mari Lopez, this one-of-a-kind workshop invites teens ages 13–19 to paint their own pair of shoes or boots as a canvas for personal expression. Participants will also write a short narrative to accompany their designs—turning each pair into a meaningful fusion of art and identity.
