HE LET HIS QUESTION LINGER, a facade etched upon his face as if the question was so dumb to him that the worth wasn’t even answering. the silence between them grew awkward in his view, an exasperated sigh escaped his lips
“ do you see any other way out? ” a rhetoric question escaped his mouth as if he was so sure that the only way they could escape a small room like this with a door that only locks on the outside .. believe it or not, he was in a situation like this before; a memory from childhood.surely, the window like back then was the only way out. unaware about the other, but he was no stranger to being lost like this. from hide and seek as kids, getting lost in between neighboring houses in busan until midnight to the huge college campus he lives upon as an adult. impatient when it comes to directions, he’d often get lost like this, leaving him to find comfort in his own way of finding things. LOST: familiar feeling was scarred inside of him, glued to his mind. except this time, he was accompanied by another human soul. it was not difficult for him to feel rather superior within the situation that he didn’t even remember getting himself into. he would’ve thought that he knew EXACTLY how the other felt. confusion, a tired soul, ‘ i just wanna GET OUTTA here ‘ .. he thought knew EXACTLY ..
