Kratos had been watching the girl wander near his base for some time. She didn’t appear to be a threat, but he wasn’t about to leave her to discover the place. If she had wandered father away, he might not have approached her, but she was getting too close…

  The sudden warning STARTLES her.  Nix urges her to HIDE – instead, the Chosen brandishes her Chakrams and stands her ground before the assailant, pushes back against the blade that meets her defense with a shout.  “ I won’t hide! “  She enforces, brows drawn tight – there is a flicker and flutter of LIGHT at her back as her wings appear, and she uses them to push back away from the attacker and blindside them. 

   When it is over, she draws a slow breath and hides her shaking hands.  She can’t HIDE.  She can’t.  “ s-sorry – are you okay Nix? “

✦✧   Regal noticed the tired look in Nix's eyes and sighed. He walked over to her, "Nix, you don't need to keep watch if you're tired.." He offered her a cup of coffee. It wasn't a preference of his, but Sheena had insisted they made some coffee since Raine (and Genis) planned on staying up and reading about the myths of Tethe'alla. ✧✦
