‘ your ideals are outdated. heroes don’t exist. ‘ exterminate the evils of this world by becoming one. anything else is a lie. truth lies in extermination. ‘ keep preaching and i might end this sermon a little earlier. ‘
The coward’s movements are agile but reckless . However, Asami can’t deny that she almost lost sight of him . The bag, which belongs to an innocent bystander, slings from the coward’s shoulders and swings to and fro –– as if it’s TAUNTING her . ❝ ––––– We have to CATCH that thief ! ❞ Her voice, confident and assured . Oh, she’s definitely ready to run .

❝ i am a traveling herbalist. ❞ she said, plucking leaves from branches and petals from flowers, gathering up into her basket filled with several other herbs, ❝ i make medicines and some other things for those that request it of me. ❞
❛ -------------- CURLY! nice to see ya this morning. and with pants on! now that’s a gracious bonus for us all! gotta say, i’ve seen longer walks of shame for less, but i’ve never seen anyone scamper like that. didja make it back to the barracks in one piece, or did the cook catch you for stealing cheese along the way? ❜ | @extemplar.
" i was screaming diplomatically! " [ b ye ]
out of context D&D quotes. // accepting.
She GIGGLES, of all things, cheeks flushing as calloused hands hover before her mouth. Judging by his expression, the poor Commander doesn’t realize quite how SILLY that sounds. She’d explain, but she can’t stop laughing — and she’s FAIRLY CERTAIN that this doesn’t quite count as insubordination.
FINALLY she manages, “I’m — fairly certain you were just YELLING, Commander.” Another laugh. She’s trying to stop. REALLY. “Diplomacy generally involves — less yelling, in my experience.”

“No, you idiot --- use your damn shield. It’s like you forget it’s THERE.” Impatient { though not altogether unkind } critique of the recruit is unprompted, but she is the sort to offer it. After all, she has seen her own battles enough to know that CODDLING poor technique is going to result in DEATH. Better alive with wounded pride than dead without.
“There you go!! If you’ve got a shield, make USE of it.” Grin quirking lips, natural, hands upon wide hips --- she turns to survey the other recruits only to come face to face with --- SHIT. MAKER PRESERVE HER.
“Knight - Com --- Commander Cullen!” Oh, Maker. She hadn’t presumed to command his troops when he was PRESENT. It was just difficult for her to see bad form and not say something, least of all when the Commander himself had stepped away. IF THE BREACH COULD SWALLOW HER RIGHT NOW, THAT WOULD BE GREAT. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you were here --- !”
