Do you have flowers that are often related to dreams? They should be found in pretty much only in the wild or extinct.
Hey Nonny,
first of the Victorian flower language offers the following for flowers associated with dreams.
gentian (closed) – sweet be thy dreams
osmunda – dreams
thornapple – I dreamt to three, deceitful charms
And now I've got some really fantastic news for your which is that extinct flowers have absolutely nothing associated with them because they are extinct and the Victorian flower language was only invented like two centuries ago and while the flowers they had then may not have been exactly the same but we have virtually no way to prove any of that because there are basically no records of anything regarding that, and you're probably asking yourself why is that so fantastic, well it is because you can make you whatever you want for your story and nobody can tell you that it isn't accurate because there is no counterproof for anything. You are the God of your own creation. Relish it.
Now, wildflowers, technically, yes that's doable to figure out, but you would have to tell us what area we're talking about because technically all flowers are wildflowers somewhere on this planet earth. There is no such thing as a truly “domesticated” flower. (I lack a better word for that but you get the drift, right?) Some people just have rhododendron and marguerites for wild plants while others get orchids and strelitzia. So it really just depends on where your character lives.
