90 minutes without my phone
So the other day I had to bring my phone to Apple because I cracked my screen. They told me they had to take it for 90 minutes to complete the repair. At first I was thinking it wouldn’t be a big deal, until I got to the Prudential Center and couldn’t talk to anyone, check snap chat, or manage my magazine via email. I tried to distract myself by getting professional clothes for work, but I kept reaching for my phone to send pics to my friend so they could advise me on my fashion choices. I tried to shop for books, but couldn’t google the Amazon rating for the book. On top of it all, I had to keep asking sales reps what the time was. I was completely lost without my phone. It is very unsettling to realize how attached I am to my devices. I might need to work at that.
