Nothing means more to me than Brotherhood. Brotherhood is being there for each other. Brotherhood is loving each other despite differences. Brotherhood is never giving up on each other no matter how hard it gets. Brotherhood is impossible to put into words. Through joining Mu Beta Psi I have gotten to know people that love music and service as much as I do. I have made countless friends that I will be able to keep forever. My Big Brother, Shawn, is the definition of a Big Brother. He helped guide me through the tough pledging season and he still helps me with problems I have. He can be (sometimes a little too) brutally honest with me, but he would drop everything he is doing if I needed him. Everyone is Psi in some way shows what Brotherhood means. Whether it is congratulating me on a new job, saying hi to me as we pass on the way to class, or grabbing a bite to eat with me, I know these Brothers are always there believing in Brotherhood as much as I do. These friends are people that I get to spend time with doing things like volunteering at the UP200, the children’s museum, or concerts. My Brothers hold a different place in my heart, and even though we have our rough patches, I have never been more happy with a decision I made than when I decided to pledge Mu Beta Psi.
