trigger warning: angst, cruelty towards others,
The boy sat in his room crying.
It was another day of not wanting to go to work for fear of snide comments and unspoken insults. Another day of almost complete silence, and then the memories of his previous job just flood him. It wasn’t like his previous job was traumatic. It wasn’t good work but he did always try his best. It was fast food and that’s all that needs to be said.
It feels like the world is against him.
The boy looses sleep to stay up and get the demons out of his head. It’s just impossible. He’s alone. The only solace is his internet friends and a spirit.
He knows he needs help. It’s too scary. With endless hoards of people always finding ways to kick him when he’s down, he has trouble seeing the spirit.
The spirit is very kind. He loves the boy very much. He protects the smaller one. The spirit reminds the boy to drink water everyday and they do face masks together.
“They’re just going to look at the body and be mean to me.”
“Maybe not. I’ll help.”
Can we have some Doc angst? After being teleported in the future cubes by Grif?
At first, it was kinda relaxing to drift through this odd part of space. After he got over his mind numbing terror that is. It was very dark, but almost...glittery. It didn’t take long before every speck had a name, and a personality, and interpersonal relationships. Every sound was amplified and echoed by the abyss he had found himself trapped in, so as he talked to himself. If he closed his eyes and timed it right, he could almost pretend that he wasn’t completely and totally alone in this hell.

I’m not against solitary-confinement by itself because inmates who represent a serious threat to staff as well as other inmates and at times to themselves and because of this must be isolated…
