Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 cup cocoa powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 2 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet or dark.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350F 175C. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined and creamy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set around the edges but slightly soft in the center.
