Selling homemade cards!
A collection of stalls displayed at Gordonton Country Market. Special note to the amusing 'Toilet Training & Aiming Stickers"... Lango's Hungarian Fried Bread: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Langos-Hungarian-fried-bread-puffs/277929652278459?ref=ts
John Bridgeman and Cillia Henry cut the red tape and officially declare the Gordonton Country Market open!
Welcome to extroverted art
I have created this art project as an offset to the frustrations of academic studies and as a way to exercise my creative limbs in a style distant from music. My music tends to look inside of myself, about my emotions and experiences. It quickly becomes about me, it becomes introverted art. So I am eager to create art that steps well outside of myself and into the wider community. Exploring other peoples lives, other peoples emotions and experiences, creating extroverted art. Aside from this post, I will try hard not to speak of myself at all. To achieve extroverted art I am going to take you, the reader, on a tour around my hometown, Gordonton Village, through a series of photographs. Hopefully stopping along the way to hear stories and meet people. Many photos will be accompanied with a written description or explanation. So I hope you will join me on a journey through my hometown, on a journey to leave our fiercely independent, self-centred nature and connect with the other people in community. So maybe my pebble in the stream will contribute to a more caring and involved world. On that 'world peace' note, I will finish this post. This is a challenge. This is art. This is a story. Looking forward to sharing it with you! Dan Brunskill.
