#OnValentinesDay An extrovert who emphatically says "yes!" to any invitation to socialize w positive folks, the majority of my 36 yrs have been spent in the company of others. I don't just hang, I connect, I'm fully present, I buzz off others & I soak in the essence of anyone I'm around. Always. Highly relational folks enjoy a wealth of healthy, deep, fulfilling relationships, and I am rich. || However, I have often feel like a gumby-doll stretched thin, I can get anxious & overstimulated in 10 seconds (esp when I look at my phone or email) & I drown in others' low energy. When my calendar is full w no substantial alone time in sight, I burn out & am the worst version of myself. Quickly. || I can't believe it took me 36 yrs to figure out that my refuelling is always, and only, done alone.
