If the eyes are the windows to the soul, why not define those pretty peepers? As a kohl liner lover, I’m used to doing so with a dose of dark colour. But since nude is the look du jour, a lighter approach is just the ticket – and just as smoldering. Snag the look with this easy breezy how-to:

1. Apply cream shadow in a warm light brown shade over the lid and along the crease, blending upward toward the brow bone. For a wide-eyed effect, opt for a light shade of taupe. 2. Instead of dark eyeliner, use a taupe shade to add more shape to the eyes. For an evening look, go for metallic gold or bronze.
