but for now, the eye thief is a YA fantasy novel about a world where power and royal status is given through king’s eyes, a special type of eye that allows the user to access and channel the system of magic in their world. the story follows the protag, shay, the heir of athrosa, who is currently trying to get her king’s eye. this is proving difficult as she’s being held captive by the kingdom that athrosa is currently at war with, and they’re trying to siphon her powers before she can use them herself.

i won’t go much more into it bc 1. im only 15k out of probs like.... 70k words and im not entirely sure how to write a good blurb for it yet LOL and 2. i don’t want to give away anything that would really be considered a spoiler! but! i promise its gay
