Kanda could hear a song being played. A soft tune, that lulled him into sleep. His tired eyes closing the pain he felt starting to disappear. Could this be the end? Pictures of his comrades played through his mind, places he had been adventures he had, love he came to acknowledge. The samurai's breath slowed as he pictured a red headed male, the usagi? Why would he be thinking of that idiot now, of all times? Lavi was trying to speak to him, but the voice drown out by the soft tune. A small smile came across the samurai's lips, a soft smile full of regret. Why? Why now? Why did his heart hurt, why did he feel as though he was leaving something incomplete? Unfinished? Unsettled? Was it that he had planned something special for the usagi that would never get delivered now? As he drew in a painful breath, he cursed himself. At least the usagi wouldnt seem him this way.
