Favorite Sunglasses!

Every time I wear this pair of sunglasses I get stopped and asked where they are from. Sunglasses and shoes are the two things that I could never have enough of.

I usually wear Ray Ban's but when my husband bought me a pair of Chanel sunglasses which I loved but were too big and heavy for my face, I went looking to exchange them for a more comfortable pair. Whenever I go to Johannesburg I try and pop in to my favorite boutique glasses store in Melrose Arch called Eyetique. What I love about this store is that they always have the latest eye wear and you are guaranteed to find something unique that is not found in other stores.

This time I discovered these really nice sunglasses by a brand called Mykita. Besides for being stylish and trendy they are the most comfortable  sunglasses I've ever bought. They are made out of light stainless steel and have a snap hinge so even when the kids are pulling at them and trying them on they don't break.

I also chose my husbands glasses there a while back -  his are from the brand Oliver Peoples.

SWF seeks... Oliver Peoples.

Eyetique in Shadyside hosted a little house party at their new digs in celebration of Oliver Peoples 25th Anniversary. I say little, but people were spilling out onto Walnut, DJ Bonics was pumping the bass and I'm pretty sure Kike and I spotted a Super Bowl ring in there somewhere. Just a random Thursday.
