hi love! i’m baking flapjacks and it reminded me that i think you mentioned the other day that you were baking a cake (for an occasion? just because - just because is obviously completely valid. like, why? why not!) and the topping had gone everywhere?? anyway, how did it turn out in the end? i really wanted to bake a cake. alas i only had the 4 ingredients needed for some extremely basic flapjacks, but storm eunice is blowing a gale outside and idk it felt like a cosy thing to do 💕

Yes! I baked a cake yesterday (and the chocolate sauce overflowed allover my oven while it was baking ugh)! I started getting recipes recommended on IG so I tried a few out, one of them being this chocolate cake :) It's really quick and easy, I've made it a few times already and I quite like it. I baked it just because :) We don't really eat junk food/snacks so if I ever want a dessert or something sweet I usually bake it.

hmmm i quite like foxgloves and wolfsbane, i’m not much of a ~flower person as much as i am a plant person, i have lots of plants around the house but i don’t mind it when my mum trims daffodils and lilly’s from her garden and gives them to me (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

definitely morning but it’s not intentional, i think because i used to get up early for school and college i’ve just naturally (since then) always woken up with the sun, so like 6/7, i stay up too late though sometimes and always regret it but there’s something quite relaxing about sitting in your garden with a brew when it’s quiet and just ~being
