yehehheES FELLOW SOUND OBSESSED NERDDDDD
(I have zero images in my brain so everything is sound and when stuff has good sound. It stay)
I am biting myself about this soundtrack actually because it so gruesomely depicts anger and loneliness and most of all the feeling of inhuman-ness?
There is no better way to describe my inner turmoil other than the sliding whispers of Negatives or the vibrating waves of The Shakes. It's such a perfect thing for 'I am that which waits in the darkest silence' and AGH ive been needing that so much!!!!
I PHYSICALLY JUMPED READING THIS YES YESSSS
GOD someone else who gets how anger fueled and lonely this soundtrack is. I agree it's so inhuman, but also so uniquely human at the same time ??
There's also such determination weaved throughout the whole thing. From Ocean of Blood to Hull Breach. From the big, fighting back songs [like Jaws of Life, Fate Welded Shut, Come and Try, Go to Hell], to some of the baseline used-in-the-background songs [like Claustrophobic, Asleep at the Wheel], and these very important, much different sounding songs [I Will Get My Freedom and Lost Souls]. Even some of these songs for Simon's vulnerable moments [Ptsd] it always gives me some muddled form of determination.
It's such a wonderful setting piece next to Simon's will to live
I really only don't feel the determination in Acceptance. Which. God Andrew Hulshult when I get you. In terms of the soundtrack tracklist, this is right when Simon is realizing [accepting] he isn't going to live. Hell.
OUGHH YES YES !!! i understand that greatly. I don;t have much to add in that section but I'm nodding and i get it personally yes
