"Hey, hey wait up." Lucky ran to catch up to the girl he met in the coffee shop a couple of weeks ago and hadn't been able to stop thinking about. A dopey smile spread across his face once he caught up with her and then for a few moments he forgot to say anything else. “Shit.” Lucky mumbled when he realized. “Sorry, I was going to come talk to you then I got here and forgot to say something.” Nervous laughter followed and he swayed back and forth in place. She was so pretty. How were you supposed to talk to pretty girls, again? He’d done it before, why couldn’t he come up with something that didn’t sound like he was a complete moron now? Probably because you’re a fucking moron, Lucky. “I was, uh, I was going to see if maybe you um, wanted to come sit and chill with me for a little bit?” He asked, rubbing the back of his neck. “I mean, if not that’s totally cool too but I have water and some snacks and a bluetooth speaker.” A lanky decorated arm pointed over in the direction of where his cot and sleeping bags were set up near his dad and Khalil’s stuff.
