ezra’s interlude // chromeo ft. ezra koenig
Song of the Day - Day 6 - Ezra’s Interlude by Chromeo feat. Ezra Koenig
THIS. THE FEELS. I don’t have much to say because this one’s rather self explanatory... I mean what’s better than Chromeo’s “fresh beats” (if that’s what the young’ins are calling it these days) combined with the lingering voice of vampire weekend’s Erza Koenig. It’s so piercing AHHHHHHHHH. Chromeo has been one of my more casually favorite artists. I’m really into their type of sound along with other bands like Ratatat and Ghostland Observatory. It’s so... FUNKY :D This song really hits home though and is a bit unusual for the upbeat Chromeo and provides their album with some nice breathing room to express a whole range of emotions.
I don't want to feel it for the second time. I don't want to call you up and wait for a sign. I just can't pretend I'm going to make you mine.

Chromeo - Ezra's Interlude feat. Ezra Koenig (White Women, 2014)
I'm not much of a Vampire Weekend fan but I love what Ezra Koenig does and his feature in this ballad is gorgeous.
So Ezra's interlude is orgasmic.
It pisses me off that everyone is paying attention to that one song on the Chromeo album because it has that other dude from that band featured in it, like Chromeo is a really great fucking band listen to some of their other music instead of spamming the Chromeo tag with THE SAME GODDAMN SONG ..... Now that I got that of my chest, I can't wait to see them tomorrow!!! There's definitely some baby making music on the album :)
