Iron Lung au wallpaper - Simon’s Heaven

Text is from Kinder than Man by Althea Davis, bc I can’t stop thinking about how much that poem screams Simon to me and I Am Unwell 😖 also the background is, ofc, the daytime sky on Eternia, if you couldn’t tell~

I’m kinda riffing on the possibility that Simon (and the other Ethereals) are actually dead, or that they did die and have returned/been brought back as spirits or angels of some kind, and in this way Eternia is their heaven. Or in a literal sense Eternia is the heaven to AT-5’s hell (something something “the bottom of the ocean is the true biblical hell…”) and the rest of the universe is purgatory after the Quiet Rapture.

Anyway this is a lot of lore and biblical references for a wallpaper post just look at it and enjoy it lol
