Ezra nearly choked on his beer, he was ecstatic Declan had been able to come to the playoff game to cheer him and the team on. Even more to win said game and have Declan there for the celebration. It shouldn't have surprised him that after it had been a bit since they'd seen one and other Declan was maybe a bit needy. He looked at his boyfriend hungrily "Then I won't make you wait much longer," he said softly.
He cleared his throat "All right team I'm calling it," he said to the team. They all groaned and heckled a bit "Hey I'm not as young as you all, I deserve some rest!" He joked.
Milo eyed Declan "Yeah. Rest. You have a great night Coach," he smirked as he sipped his beer. Ezra tried not to get too flustered about at least some of his team definitely knowing why he was leaving. "Thanks for coming to the game Declan."
The rest of the team echoed the sentiments and Ezra told them not to go too wild that night and got a promise they wouldn't. He took Declan's hand, beyond glad the place they'd been celebrating with wasn't long.
Once in the hotel elevator Ez pulled Declan close for a slow eager kiss "I'm glad you came."
