Excerpt from current chapter im working on For the Love Of
“I, on the other hand, have never experienced it.” Randvi looked from Eivor to the lovers. “I will run interference from the outside.” Her eyes returned again to Eivor, who seemed as affected by the information as they had so many years ago. “You would be surprised at how many people want to experience a high like this. Idiots aren’t the only ones.” “Honestly it’s not so bad when you have someone to share it with.” Brona pointed out. She looked from Eivor to Randvi, then back again. “I find it steals a lot of the fun out of playtime.” Kassandra commented. “You are so compelled to just do the mechanics that all the creative things go out the window.” Brona hummed, batting long lashes at her partner. “Sometimes the mechanics are what you crave.” Kassandra grunted, and they shared that telling look again. Eivor’s brow furrowed as she shook her head. “I should be getting ready.” Randvi pulled herself slowly from Eivor’s arms. “You both should.” Brona said, giving them both pause. “What?” Eivor asked as she slid off the stool and stood in Randvi’s arms. “You should both get ready.” Brona reiterated. “Unless you don’t want to go?”
“What could I do that you can’t do better?” Brona laughed, her hand coming to Eivor’s shoulder. “So many things. Especially if your partner is exposed to the tears.”
Eivor was quiet as her cheeks flushed. She laughed. “You are right.”
