like the thing is. the thing is joy homewrecking the trio still could’ve worked if it had been more about how with joy wdh’s character had started healing and moving on while sooji and sejoo were still locked in that codependent toxic cycle where all they have is each other. like just the natural tension of growing up and growing apart and coming back together different but still strong like before. which already existed in the narrative but the writing just couldn’t quite Get There
