Isesa pulled her children closer to her as they traveled through the Corasant underworld. She let Kallus lead them, it took much convincing... but she was going to finally meet Kallus's parents. "How much further love?" She asked. ((@mint-chocolate-pilot))

“If they haven’t moved just a bit further.” And a block or so later they were there. And Kallus stared at the door like it held unspeakable horrors. Part of them supposed it did; they hadn’t seen their parents in a decade or so and had never wanted to see them again. Though now it was more out of shame than hating them.
They braced and knocked on the door.
And almost immediately it opened and a brick house of a woman filled the doorway, eyebrows furrowed for a moment before a grin almost too big for her face took it over. “Antes!” She drew them into a bone-crushing hug and glanced over their shoulder. “And you brought company!” Crislyn pulled away just to usher everybody into the shoebox of an apartment.
A comparatively willowy, and sickly purple-blue, man rose from the kitchen table. And then practically vaulted over it, despite his age, to hug his child.
Kallus cleared their throat. “This is Isesa, my wife, and Reyna, Avisinn, and Inali - our children.”
And then Isesa was the one in Crislyn’s bear hug. “Oh this is the best day of my life! You jus’ have to tell me everythin’!” She pulled away and gestured wildly at the table and old couch nearby. “Sit, sit! Make yourselves at home! You’re family, after all!”
