one of the most foundational albums of my life just turned 20 today 🤠
i will never forget the first time i heard "Clint Eastwood" on the radio when i was about 8yrs old... what followed was a complete change in the way i thought about music. Gorillaz’ self-titled album is such a diverse work from start to finish, and ive always strived to be that in my music; i hope no one ever tries to put me in a box until im dead.
i had my good friend Billy Bozell aka Scrimjab (aka @nylon_horse on IG) draw up a comic as a thank you to everything that Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett have done to shape me as an artist. i am forever grateful for you and everything youve done.
