You would think being an heiress to one of the richest families in Greenview would be a dream come true. Unfortunately it was hell on earth for Freya. She was constantly reminded that no matter what she wanted she was going to be the owner of the Yacht Club. It had been in the Chamberlain family for generations. Of course that didn't mean that Freya didn't rebel. She did in her own ways.
She was a good student growing up and this extended into her college years. However, Freya was big into partying and this amplified in college. She was about 20 years old when she started seeing Christopher Winters in secret. They had been friends since high school, Freya had always had a stupid crush on him. Unfortunately he was always spoken for and she left it at that.
when he came to her one night for a late night drink, she let it slip that she had always had feelings for him. Next thing she knew, they were tangled up together in her bed. The next morning he told her it couldn't continue and she agreed. His wife was also her friend and she felt awful for what she had done. But not enough to stop completely. The affair continued on for quite a few years.
In between sleeping with Chris, and her usual partying she met William Butler. He was a freshman in college and she was a senior about to graduate. The two hit it off and hooked up at a party one night. A few weeks later Freya found out she was pregnant. For a short amount of time she considered going to get an abortion. She was only 24. She wasn't ready to be a mother, however she decided to go home and ask her parent's for help.
To no surprise at all her parents shamed her, told her she was going to carry the baby to term or she would be completely cut off. They offered to house her for her senior year to keep her away from the eyes of anyone who wanted to start rumors If she would stop fighting them and take over the club when the time came. She said yet and the rest was history.
9 months past and she was able to join the world again, with a fresh new baby in her arms. While there is a part of her that knows who the father is. There is a small part of her that hopes Chris is the father just for an excuse to get him to commit to her and her daughter.
For a long time it was just her and her daughter. Her Parents soon retired and moved away from greenview. And so did most of Freya's siblings. She still has her friends and now after explaining why she disappeared for so long things were getting back to normal. She even started seeing Chris again.
While she now owns the Yacht Club she doesn’t necessarily run it. She is mostly there to help keep the club in the Chamberlain name. The Crew that have been there way longer than her run it just fine. She is just there to write the checks and be the neutral party if there are any disagreements.
She has avoided Will as much as could for so long and wants to keep it that way. Her daughter is currently in her phase of hating everything and anything that involves her mother. Spending more time with her friends than at home.
Freya is still quite happy with how her life turned out. Despite pinning for a man who will never commit to her.
