His arm fell over her like a natural motion, his body still half asleep but he was able to catch on to one thing: she was shaking. Concern causing him to hold his breathe, he looked down at her (something she wouldn’t even notice due to her hiding). Was she okay? A nightmare, perhaps?

            she felt his arm around her and wondered if he had woken up, trying to stop her body from shaking so jae wouldn’t notice it, lump on her throat and breathe held in. he couldn’t see it her like that but it was so hard to control it... nails sinking into the skin of his arm as min-ji tried to keep it together until he was asleep again.

He didn’t know what to do. Remaining silent as she climbed in beside him, he felt like he could be sick from how fast his heart was beating, every attempt made to make sure that and his raised breathing weren’t heard. But … he could feel her warmth. Almost instantly, nostalgia fueled his movements as his hand reached back to slowly reach for her own but instead fingers ran along her curves before it fell. “Goodnight ..”

           she didn’t move, not one muscle. maybe if she stood still he wouldn’t even notice her there -- at least that’s what she was thinking. noticing the movement, min-ji held her breathe for a moment, the fingertips running along her body making her shiver, gasping lightly in surprise. “ j-jae... ”

A smile tugged on his lips as he closed his eyes, just enjoying having her close. "For what I got I slept well." Another light kiss to her ear. "You're beautiful, you know that?"

           those words made her let out a quiet chuckle, cheeks turning red. the feeling of his lips against her ear sending a shiver down her spine, soft sigh leaving her lips, words making her blush more. “ stop that, it’s embarrassing... ”

“Did you sleep well?” As he spoke, he continued to press light, fluttering kisses to her skin. His body soon sat upright with hers so she could be pulled in close against him with his chin resting on her shoulder a moment later. “We still have time.”

         each kiss made her visibly shiver again and again and again but oh, she loved it. “ yeah, you were here... ” min-ji rested against him. “ you? ”

“Calm down, jeez. It was just a kiss.” Why was she getting so up in arms about this? “I ain’t going home. You’ve got no authority to tell me what to do anymore, remember?” It was a low blow but he didn’t care. She had no right telling him to stop kissing someone when they were no longer dating. “You go home. You’re so pissy tonight, what the fuck.”

                Hands clenched into fists again, Min-Ji just stared at him, almost as if she was angry at him. “You’re an asshole sometimes, you know that? At least do it somewhere private so people can’t see and don’t ruin that girl’s career” She looked at him, disappointment showing on her red hues before Min-Ji turned around to leave.

“Relax, we’re all from the same backgrounds. Everyone keeps it quiet around here.” He laughed, clearly taking this as a complete joke. But why should he care? People made out at these things all the time and he hadn’t had any issues. “You’re paranoid, chill out.”

                 “I don’t care, it’s stupid and it can still damage you, you idiot” She was clearly way more annoyed about this than normal. He wasn’t her problem anymore, why did she care? “Paranoid?” Min-Ji repeated, sarcasm on her voice. Anything Jae said at this point would have a negative effect on her. “God, I wanna slap you right now.” The girl muttered under her breath. “Go home, Jae”

Yes, he was kissing this girl back … but why not? It wasn’t as if he was involved with anyone anymore and the atmosphere at the event was lively enough that it seemed right. His hands on her waist, they were removed as he was swiftly turned. The girl huffing before leaving while he turned to glare at Min-Ji, clearly already having had a little bit to drink himself. “What’s your problem?”

                 “What’s my problem?” She scoffed. “You are. What are you doing, Jae-Bin? If I could see it then anyone could.” But most important, she was the one that saw it and... well, Min-Ji wished that she didn’t.

He shrugged as they got back in to position. At this point, he was sure their instructor would eventually just walk out but they had to get it right. Being behind her giving him a chance to whisper. “Just focus. Remember your goal.” If she wanted to get to the top then she needed as few noticed mistakes as possible. And, again, they began the routine. Him keeping an eye to make sure she was safe throughout.

                   She just wanted to get this over with, finally get it right so the instructor was pleased but that didn’t seem to happen. The way he whispered on her ear made Min-Ji blush for a moment, feeling his warm breath against her skin. But the words brought her back to reality, expression changing as she became serious, whispering back to him. “Thank you”
