           she was always careful. so so careful. nothing could get in the way of her practices when the group was so close to the next comeback -- she couldn’t afford to take a break and yet, she had somehow ended in the hospital, forced by the other members to go once they had noticed the swelling in her right foot. minji couldn’t quite remember how it had happened or perhaps she had simply chosen to forget it so she could avoid dealing with the injury -- it had worked for a week until now. sitting in the hospital bed, she bit down her bottom lip, waiting for the doctor to come in and hoping he’d tell her good news.

          perhaps deciding to adventure on her own in a strange city wasn’t the smartest idea but so far, minji thought she could handle it. “ -- sorry, but uh... can you tell me where the nearest cafe is..? ”

His arm fell over her like a natural motion, his body still half asleep but he was able to catch on to one thing: she was shaking. Concern causing him to hold his breathe, he looked down at her (something she wouldn’t even notice due to her hiding). Was she okay? A nightmare, perhaps?

            she felt his arm around her and wondered if he had woken up, trying to stop her body from shaking so jae wouldn’t notice it, lump on her throat and breathe held in. he couldn’t see it her like that but it was so hard to control it... nails sinking into the skin of his arm as min-ji tried to keep it together until he was asleep again.

What time was it? Considering it was still dark outside, he assumed early morning. A quick glance around the hotel room soon leading his attentions to the girl curled up close to him. Had she fallen asleep okay? His heart was racing just with her there but he had to control it. He had to think about other things and not just ... her.

           she couldn’t sleep. at first, min-ji had fallen asleep so quickly with the warmth coming from him lulling her to sleep but sometime along the night, she woke up. everything was fine, a smile on her feautures when she saw him but suddenly it was all too much. a weight on her chest, almost making it hard to breathe. he was there. he was there again and she… oh, she missed this so much, more than she could bear. choking back the tears, min-ji hid her face on his chest, holding on to jae as if her life depended on it.
