I have no need to insult you. There would be nothing to be gained from that. It simply not the person I am. I guess I am curious as to what your favorite genre since they aren't my favorites xD

My favorite genre is a tie between the romance/drama genre and the psychological genre.

I have nothing against you. People like different things I just wanted to know sought to understand why. Though I will say if you were to give these genres more of a chance instead of writing them off then maybe you might have a higher opinion of them. Then again you probably alright set in your ways and I get that. Anyways I was just scrolling through tumblr. Sorry to bother you ^^;

No worries. And I do give them a chance from time to time. It’s not as though I decided that I dislike them without watching any. I think I’ve watched about 6ish mecha anime. And the first couple of episodes of 4 sports anime (not many I’m aware but it is a smaller genre no?). I do appreciate that you asked me respectfully instead of just throwing insults though. ^_^

What's your beef against mecha/sports anime?

..How far back did you go to find that?!

Regardless, the short answer? They just don’t interest me.

The longer answers?

Sports: I’ve never had an interest in watching sports. Or even sports videogames. So looking at sports anime, I don’t see how that would change. I kinda wish I remember how I explained this to my friends because I had a solid argument at the time, but I can’t remember it.

Mecha: I seemed to have missed the appeal when I was a kid. While some mechas look cool that’s about all I can say about them. When I see mecha fights, they just seem so slow and.. and.. artificial? I can’t think of a good word for that. I prefer action sequences to be quick and fluid. Something that mechas tend to struggle with. If it makes you feel better I dislike most fights including modern day firearms for similar reasons.

Overall I’m not saying that these genres are bad. Obviously they are extremely popular. It’s just that I want nothing to do with them.
