Having not seen her older sister in almost a year, McKenna was quite excited for the visit. Sure, the house was still a mess of unpacked boxes and cluttered with items strewn about, but she and Nova had at least made a bit of progress. They could at least see the couch to watch TV and eat at the table. It was as she’d been clearing out one of the boxes that she found the gift she had for her older sister which had made her smile, knowing what was inside of it: a t-shirt that read “Great Sisters Get Promoted to Aunt”. It was Kenna’s way of announcing the baby to Violet, and she was beyond excited. Ever since she’d gotten back home, she was eager to share the news with everyone, but wanted to tell the most important people first, though now that she was fifteen weeks along, it was beginning to get difficult to hide the growing bump. For now, she had it hiding under a sweatshirt until Violet opened the gift. Hearing the doorbell ring and the zoo begin to go crazy over the noise, the brunette made her way towards the front door with a laugh. “Guys, shut up. It’s just Violet.” When she opened the door and the animals saw who it was, they quieted, and Kenna threw her arms around her sister. “Well hi there. I missed you.”
