There’s a... snake on the floor of the penthouse. Mal paused and sort of looked at it chilling there. “Where did you come from?” He looked around to see if Cosimo was there, but he wasn’t (he hadn’t seen in him a couple of days and had put it down to them just missing each other). Malachi went over and scooped up the snake, bringing her head up to look at her. “You’re lovely but who do you belong to?” It must have looked crazy, him talking to a snake but angels were known for communicating with animals.
