“Who knew the Blue Brick would get so fancy with a brunch special,” Sam remarked with a small smile. It was kind of funny, how the town he’d known his whole life seemed to be changing, surely with each passing season as the tourism grew. Still, it was nice to be able to hang out with Tina again, first meeting up at the movies and now this. He hadn’t visited the Blue Brick since his first day being back in town, and it was nice to see the little upgrades and updates...including the extensive brunch menus, but those chocolate croissants were calling his name. Plus, it was good to be back in familiar company. “Thanks for hanging out with me again, Tee. I know I gotta catch you between diner shifts so I’m not trying to take up all your time.”
