It had been quite the week for Ryan. But her birthday party had passed, prom had passed, and she was left with absolutely nothing to do come Sunday morning. The distractions were gone and even though she had Pride festivities to look forward to, she still had an entire day before she got there. She spent the entire day in her practice room, but when that became old and she got restless, she finally emerged for some fresh air. She stepped out into the courtyard just in time to see the sun setting in the horizon. It was oddly quiet, but she wasn’t going to complain about it. She sat on a bench and watched the sun continue in it’s downward fall as her mind got lost in it’s thoughts. When she heard someone next to her, she didn’t even bother looking. “It never gets old, does it? Watching the sunset.”
