F2F || DIEGO & KURT (MAY 01)

Kurt asked the bookstore manager for the day off that day, because he wanted to get his place ready for when Diego arrived there later that day. Even if he spent a good part of the weekend making all the neccesary arragements so that Diego could put his things his order inside their room, he also worked into turning his studio into a place so they both could do their work when, and if needed. That way, the amount of times his Dom would have to go back and forth from his place, or office would be not too many.

On that day, he dedicated the day to clean up a bit more, and to make a delicious dinner for when Diego got there. Lasagna, mozzarella sticks, garlic bread and green salad would be the plate for the night. While doing all his chores, he couldn't help skipping every once in a while, he was that much excited. Finally, he took a good shower and changed into a pair of dark green trousers, a white half unbuttoned shirt and a light green neckerchief around his neck. He was giving the final touches to the table, candles, wine and a bouquet of different color daisies, when he realized it was almost time for Diego to get there.

"Special delivery! It smells amazing so you better open up before its gone!" Finn said, knocking again on his friend's door. He had met Alec years ago after an unfortunate accident involving a telephone pole and a concussion he had sustained and the two of them had remained close. Luckily he hadn't needed surgery that day but it never hurt to have a doctor on standby. Finn had made a promise to himself to start becoming more social, to step from behind the scenes at the rescue and be a more prominent face of his company. That included networking and putting himself out there. He hadn't been back in town long after one such event and he wanted a familar face, someone he hadn't seen in a while so after texting him, they had agreed to meet at his place for a meal before he went home to decompress and sleep.

If she were honest, Madison was pretty upset with herself. It had been three weeks since she’d fought with Mason over his acceptance to NYU. It hadn’t been quite radio silence between them. After all, they lived together, cheered together, had a couple of the same classes, and had glee club together. But things were far from the same. Awkward, distant, at times a little chilly was a far cry from a bond Madison once swore was close enough to have twin telepathy - developed before they learned to talk, naturally. Regardless, fixing it was on her. She had been in the wrong, a fact that had taken a few days to fully settle in, so she had to make the first move. Could it be that hard?  Surely a bond like they’d had all their lives couldn’t be completely ruined over one fight. But still, approaching with a peace offering couldn’t hurt, could it? 

Despite never claiming to be a great cook, Madison had mastered a few items in the kitchen, and one was snickerdoodle cookies. Who wouldn’t know how to make their brother’s favorite cookie, right? She kept an eye down the hall, not wanting to be caught in the act. The smell alone had the potential to give her away, but if she was lucky, Mason was burning a candle and be none the wiser. Once they were just cool enough to not burn the roof of one’s mouth (figured by taste test, of course), she plated them up and headed down the hall.

She knocked at his door as she peeked inside. “I made cookies, your favorite” Madison offered in greeting, nodding to the plate in front of her. “Can we talk for a minute? If you’re not too busy?”

dani’s fingertips remained on top of santana’s thigh as she whipped through the busy streets of los angeles, california. touring had tired them out and to say dani was relieved to have a few weeks off was a bit of an understatement. the north american leg of her first headlining tour kicked off international shows for the young artist and having santana alongside her would make this new journey worthwhile. the radio played over the speakers softly as her car slowed onto a dirt road, the top of their rental mercedes folding down. dani hummed softly to the tune, occasionally shooting a glance at santana through the drive. she originally told her it would be a cruise down sunset boulevard, but she secretly planned a date getaway for the two.

booking a cabin off to the mountains, dani felt like it would be the perfect way for them to unwind after hectic, whirlwind tour. with black leggings and an oversized sweatshirt adorning her petite figure, dani made no effort for makeup or to do her hair, leaving her face natural and her hair in the soft waves she’d brushed out from days of hair styling. her contact lenses remained in her suitcase and she replaced them for her prescription glasses, feeling the most beautiful around santana when she didn’t need to try for her. finding the lit up cabin, dani giggled as she pulled into a private driveway. “surprise.. i lured you into going on a date with me instead of, you know, having me between your thighs as you usually do,” she half-joked with a shrug. “our date is starting with a picnic dinner. which, i hope you don’t mind..” she murmured as she shut off the engine, leaning over to press a kiss to santana’s lips. “then again, it’s not like you can run off anyway, so..” she teased with a giggle.

004 | DINNER

Apart from the organization helping children all across the globe, Sara also adds their hometown to the list. Surely, there are people who still suffer in town as well as the neighboring towns of Lakeview. So, she likes to make little events too. The invite has been sent a few weeks, in line with a town event held just outside the hall. The restaurant crew, organization crew and the Mayor were all present for the event. They spent their entire afternoon there, serving food to people as well as meeting new clients. Sara made sure not to be obvious but kept her distance with Nixon a bit closer than with others. But with her dad around, there were times that she really focused on other things just so Nixon wouldn’t get the look from her dad again.

The event went by smoothly and before they know it, the restaurant crew were already packing up to bring things back to the restaurant and clean. The organization crew were allowed to go home so that meant, Nixon didn’t have anything else to do for the rest of the night. “So, what’s your plan for the rest of the night? Drive around? Eat somewhere?” She asked and before she could have a conversation with Nixon, her dad came up to them. “Sara, time to go. Your mom’s waiting at home, she cooked dinner.” Her dad said, giving Nixon again the look of it’s time to say goodnight. But then, Sara had an idea. Just to break off the building tension between everyone. “Hey, come have dinner with us. I’m sure mom made enough for one more person.”

Drew had managed to get his job back at the paper, he wasn’t doing it to get close to Sapphire and their baby but he needed a job but he was lucky that it was still available,it had been five months he thought it would have closed. Now he was back and he was walking back in, he felt nervous for once, but he was more worried to see Sapphire and wonder how she would react to be here. But he needed to stop that. He sat down in the office that he had missed and set everything up. this was when Sapphire would find out he was getting a divorce and he knew she would want to know that. As he sat there he looked over at the girl who was sitting in the desk, it was actually a relief to see her at work.

Finn couldn’t stop thinking about the time he had been spending with Brittany lately as he drove carefully down the lane towards her house. Her company, her bubbly personality... just seemed right..maybe that’s what really he needed to take Rachel off his mind for a bit. He really liked Brittany though, maybe more than he would ever admit to himself.

Once he parked his car on the driveway, he made his way up to Brittany’s front door, before knocking on it, waiting for her to answer.

the sound of the tires slowing against the concrete highway made demi’s heart rate quicken. kehlani’s manager helped her make this surprise happen, knowing that the pair grew close after tour. of course, demi didn’t insinuate how close, wanting to keep their little fling under wraps until they were mutually ready. she wanted to know more about kehlani, but they seemed to get wrapped up in the tension between them whenever they were alone. as the SUV pulled into the garage behind the hotel, demi thanked the driver and got out, her dark hues darting to the manager who stood near the back entrance. giving the other a small wave, demi approached them and followed as they led the way. “thanks for doing this,” the singer murmured when they ended up in the elevator.

when they reached kehlani’s floor, she glanced to the door and then her phone, sending a quick text. swiping the room key the manager got from the front desk, she nodded to indicate kehlani was in the room before she was finally alone. closing the door quietly, the older female noticed kehlani laying on her side on the bed, her back facing demi. she seemed too focused on her phone as demi slowly got onto the bed. taking one of the younger femme’s earbuds out, she reached for her chin, tipping kehlani’s head so they were looking at each other. without hesitation, the singer pressed a sweet kiss to her lips, knowing how much she missed kehlani, especially now she was touring again. “hi,” the woman said quietly, the brim of her black cap playfully hitting kehlani’s forehead.
