F2F: Trent | Grocery Run Ins
[It was uncommon for Mack to go grocery shopping without Anabeth during the summer, but with her little sister spending the afternoon at a friend’s house, well, the brunette wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to shop and not have the house filled with sugary snacks and junk food - which tended to happen when Anabeth got a say on what went in the cart. She was in the cereal aisle currently, trying to figure out what kind of cereal she could grab. Her parents preferred Cheerios, and they were already in the cart, and she knew Anabeth would eat anything with a cartoon character on the front, but, she didn’t know exactly what to pick. Anabeth tended to trade favorite kinds of cereal every week - and this week? Well, Mack wasn’t quite sure what the favorite was. Worse came to worse though, she picked a kind and Anabeth just didn’t get her favorite.]
[She grabbed a box of Fruit Loops, turning around to walk back to her cart, before noticing a familiar face further down the aisle. Putting the cereal in the cart, Mack walked up to him.] “Trent! I haven’t seen you in forever, how have you been?” [How long had it been? Months at the very least, they had stopped talking after both their workloads started to add up and they went their separate ways, still, it was nice seeing him. She supposed summer was the best time to run into people though - especially with school out of the way.]
