peter was always the outsider looking in 

his dad was a muggle, his mom was a witch 

he had a little sister TW  she drown when she was 4, peter was 6

the guilt of losing his little sister, Abigail, has plagued him throughout his childhood

to the point of when he got his hogwarts letter, he was not excited. 

magic felt like it never truly belonged to him and if it wasn’t for his persistent mother, peter might have never gone to Hogwarts 

but he went, the sorting hat putting him in gryffindor and sent him off on his way,giving him a do-over. 

quiet and timid, he was late in socializing. 

he only became friends with james, sirius and remus because they were the only three decent to him. that and they stood up for him when he was bullied by some slytherin students 

he became attached to the three boys, desperately trying to fit into their little group they all somewhat formed together but not at the same time. 

peter always felt like an outsider despite the three always being inclusive to him. 

still he loved james, sirius and remus and the four became inseparable as  time went on 

his love for plants blossomed sixth year and he realized then he wanted nothing else to do other than dedicate his life to plants and research 

deciding to side with the order felt like a no-brainer. his friends were joining the Order and so did he. As a half-blood who wanted to continue existing in this world and well frankly he still hated some purebloods who bullied him in school, it was a very natural decision. 

right now peter is living alone in his small-ass apartment filled with plants, living his best lyfe
