forgets to run the dish washer: fabian

pumps gas for the car: they’re both too clueless to try lol

drives when they’re going somewhere: fabian would just automatically tell melanie to drive because he knows better

rearranges the furniture: melanie

falls asleep with the TV on: they probably both do it every now and then waiting up for the other one to come from work/an order thing tbh - when fabian catches melanie he probably carries her back to bed, and when mel finds him she either tucks him in there or wakes him up depending on how late it is

gets to use the bathroom first: fabian probably doesn’t care/takes two seconds in the bathroom, so melanie

decides the temperature for the ac/heater: melanie

sets up holiday decorations: both of them, but they probably get “”“sidetracked”“” in the middle of it

leaves the lights on: fabian, but melanie’ll leave on all the lights in the house on purpose if she’s home alone because it gives her the heebie jeebies

uses the bathroom with the door open: fabian always

fixes the plumbing (or calls the plumber): melanie calls the plumber, fabian tries to fix it himself
