I’m still alive!
I’ve fallen madly in love with Dragon Age Inquisition, so all of my gaming time the past few months has been all DAI, lol. I can’t get enough.

I've been jonesing to play Fable 3 again... Hoping to have some time this weekend.
I got way too excited about seeing this street sign. Fable!
If you want to hear some hilarious stuff, hang out with the nobles in Fable 3. So off the wall. I don't remember the words exactly, but a couple years ago I heard a noblewoman say something about bathing in the tears of orphans. And she didn't say it in some obvious sinister way. It was so matter of fact.
I think the current game of Fable 3 I'm playing is the longest I've gotten into the story without getting married. This princess prefers the casual sex with no commitments. ;) viva la (sexual) revolution!
It's been a few months since I've fired up Fable 3. I think I'll do that tonight. Start a new game or carry on where I left off...
I'm still alive. Just not currently playing much Fable. I'm sure I'll go crazy with it again someday. :)
Fable 3 Dating Tips
I’ve seen a couple posts now of people lamenting the loss of their dates/spouses due to mercenaries and other beasties, so I thought I’d offer some tips from my (extensive) experience of playing this game (a lot).
Brightwall Village, Dweller Camp, Mercenary Camp, Aurora, Driftwood, Clockwork Island
All safe, for dating as well as living.
I don’t remember if some of them even have date locale options, but I thought I’d include them just in case. No bad guys at all in these regions, no crazy events that cause damage or could otherwise cost you your date or spouse.
Bowerstone Castle
Safe for dating, not necessarily for living.
I’ve experienced an event where my spouse was in the audience for the throne room, shortly after I became queen, and right after the event he ended up dying and our child sent to the orphanage. I’m not sure if it was a glitch or what. My guess is that the game “throws away” all the NPCs in the audience and my spouse was unfortunate enough to make the cut. Sadface. I’ve also heard that if you don’t raise enough money for the Crawler battle, your family might not survive if they live here.
Bowerstone Old Quarter
Safe for dating, do not have a spouse living here during the coup of overthrowing King Logan.
This region will suffer a great deal of damage, and your home/spouse could be collateral damage. At all other times, it’s safe though. No bad guys running around.
Bowerstone Market
Safe for dating, do not have a spouse living here when it comes time to battle the Crawler. (Spoiler? The game is over 4 years old!)
Like the Old Quarter, this region will suffer a lot of damage and your home/spouse could be lost. I’ve had a couple of spouses and children disappear from the game. According to the map, they still live in the home, and I can’t divorce or sell the home. But they are nowhere to be found. Again, safe at all other times, no bad guys.
Mistpeak Valley
Not safe for dating.
I think the only date option is to take them to the beachy area. Right after entering the region, drop your date’s hand. Run ahead on the route alone, battle the baddies, then run back to get your date. As long as they are far enough from the fighting, they won't run, they’ll just hang out til you return.
It is safe for your family to live in the Hunting Lodge though, nothing bad enters that area and your family doesn’t leave it.
Mourningwood, Silverpines
Not safe for dating?
I can’t remember if dates happen in these regions. I don’t think so though. At any rate, run ahead and battle the baddies, then go back for your date. As far as I know, your family is safe living here, as villagers don’t go to the dangerous parts and nothing nefarious comes into the village areas.
Millfields
Not safe for dating or living.
I think this is the only region where foes really mingle with the locals. And, ya know, kill them. Often. If dating, drop their hand in a safe area, run ahead and kill the baddies, then run back for your date. I’ve only once had a spouse actually get killed when I had him living here. I was off in Aurora or something and got the notification that my spouse was killed and our child in the orphanage. I’d guess it doesn’t happen too often that your spouse gets killed here while you’re away, but it can happen.
Other regions where you can’t live and I don’t think have any date locales, but thought I’d mention in case anyone was like “what about ____?” Veiled Path, Shifting Sands, Sunset House, Godwin Estate, Ravenscar Keep
And of course, anywhere that has baddies is not a smart place to bring people if you're just randomly running around with them. When I talk about "dating" above, I mean when you're building your relationship for them and are required to take them to a specific place for a date.
As always, return your date to their proper region if you have to take them to a different one than where they're from for the date.
