I'll always remember the day you arrived to the lockerroom at 13 years old and they told us that a kid from Argentina came here for tryouts. You sat there and didn't say a word the entire time. The coach told me in the 1 on 1 exercise to go hard on you, I saw you were so small, and thought I could take the ball from you in one second. How stupid of me, you dropped me on the ground and I realized then that you were something different.
My dream was always to play for Barça's first team, but doing it with you and Geri, always made that dream much more special.
It came true in the end, and, if even for the mere fact of feeling football like I did playing as a false 9 with you and seeing the connection we had, it was worth it.
You leave as the best player of all time.
Watching Barça without you will never be the same.
