Fabrevans Week - Day Seven - Scene in S6

A certain late arrival to Blaine and Kurt's wedding seems to put a smile on Sam's face.

FABREVANS WEEK - DAY THREE - 100th Episode/New Direction Redo. 

"While we're on the topic of the past, how about some healthy competition for old time sake?" There was groan from the entire choir room as old and new members of the glee club reacted to Mr. Schuester's predictable idea, but ignoring their lack of enthusiasm he proceeded. "Im thinking duets? Sam? Quinn? Considering you both did so well as to win the contest two years ago, why don't you guys try and plan something together to perform later this afternoon?"

Uncertainty spread across both their faces almost instantly as they heard their names being mentioned but without any form of argument they just nodded in defeat and accepted the challenge without breathing a word. Sam glanced across the room to where she sat, he smiled to himself, as he kept his gaze fixed solidly on her. She looked perfect, her blonde hair had grown a lot since he last remembered, now hanging in perfect, loose ringlets just below her shoulders and her make-up was fairly discreet, showing off what Sam used to call her 'natural beauty'. The only thing ruining the view was him. That stuck-up, snobby, upper-east rich kid who had his armed draped carelessly around her petite shoulders. He furrowed his eyebrows as Quinn whispered something in the guy's ear whilst her eyes began to trail along the concrete floor of the choir room until they finally reached Sam's causing his entire body to relax under her gaze. Everything else seemed to disappear in that moment. Looking into her eyes, directly into them, led him back to that time two years ago when everything seemed so perfect, when their fairytale was a reality... that was until he remembered what caused that world to come crushing down recklessly around them and he could have sworn that he noticed the hint of guilt, that after all these years still lingered within her eyes. Eventually she tilted her head downwards and looked away, disconnecting herself from his stare, Sam noticed her fiddling anxiously with the pearls of necklace and his couldn't help but allow a smirk to creep onto his face.

It seemed he still had the ability to make her turn so vulnerable with just a blink of an eye.

The astronomy room, of course that would be his chosen place to meet. Quinn let out a deep sigh as she pushed open the door of the classroom to reveal the shaggy haired blonde facing the window, strumming random notes on his guitar, completely oblivious to her arrival. More memories started to flood back into her mind as she made her way towards him, winding her way through the desks and chairs, but she pushed those kinds thoughts to the back of her mind. 

"You'd think after all this time you would have gotten rid of that piece of crap and bought yourself a proper guitar." She mocked softly, perching herself onto the table next to Sam. As he glanced up her, Quinn almost feared he hadn't recognised the humour in her voice when she noticed the hurt look in his eyes, that was until his face suddenly broke out into a smile once he knew he had fooled her with his surprisingly good acting skills. He leaned forward slightly, not too close, but near enough for Quinn to feel his gentle breathes crashing against her nose like waves hitting a shore. 

"Last time I recall you were the one that bought me this piece of crap." He whispered, the smirk from earlier reappearing on his face. Quinn slowly tilted her head upwards instantly locking with his emerald green eyes, the way his fingertips made contact with her skin as he gently tucked a loose strand of her blonde hair behind her ear, sent a single, warm shiver down her spine. For a second she became hesitant towards what his next actions might be but before she could even properly analysis the situation, and despite her best efforts, she could already feel herself caving in, with help from the sweet persuasion of his sweet cologne. She remained still as Sam slowly leaned forward, closing the remaining small gap between them, snaking a hand into the midst of her blonde hair and pressing his lips softly onto hers. There was a part of Sam that suspected it was only a matter of time before she would pull away and reveal the anger and disgust in her eyes towards his unexpected actions. 

But she never did.

FABREVANS WEEK DAY 3 : 100/NEW DIRECTIONS RE-DO

"Everyone's been telling me she's back. Mr. Schue asked all the past glee club members to come back before the Glee Club finally ends. I saw her walking down the hall and wow, she's still so beautiful like the first time I saw her. Blaine's been convincing me to talk to her and maybe get her back but I got scared. Once again, I chose my pride and stepped back. That same week, the Unholy Trinity performed in the choir. How I missed her voice joining mine. She sounded so amazing. I knew I had to talk to her but again, I felt scared. What if she rejects me the way I did to her about 3 years ago? By the end of the week, I told myself I need to do it. It's now or never. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong time. Turns out, Puck won her. He finally did. Once again, I missed my chance to get her back."
