I expected the retail aspect to be easier and more fun but oh well, hope you're getting the hang of it! And she's a cutie! :)

Thank you! I love her, she’s going to be my play-with sim once I’m done making over the lots I want. I was hoping retail would be more fun too. Maybe I haven’t given it long enough.

I use a mod that speeds up the selling process - it's on MTS. Makes it easier to actually make money!

I think for now I’m going to rejig my retail lot. I set it up so it can also work as a small curio museum, so that’s what I’ll change it to. And I really like the little house I built on the lot, so I’m going to separate that out and put it on its own lot for Glenys -- probably where my modern Ocean Drive house is right now, since it looks out of place with the other cute cottages on this street. I think I’ll move that one to Oasis Springs.

I have a question about placing lots with MOO: I’ve seen people say “place this lot with MOO on” and also “place this lot with MOO off.” In which circumstances do I need to do either? Once I’ve built and playtested all the lots I want, I’m going to place them all in a completely fresh save, and save it as my base world, that I can use for new saves with new sims whenever I want. In the meantime, I’d like to get started playing with Glenys a little, even though I haven’t finished building, so I want to make sure when I go in and plop in those lots I won’t mess it all up! Thanks <3
