                                    𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲 !  

       𝚏𝚊𝚖𝚘𝚞𝚜 𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚝 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍𝚜.

      a boarder line on a cliche.     now lain in dust.     a fine line,    a blink.     a mere 𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐩,               in a vision,    smattered amongst a horizon.       a swift eulogy to a rising euphoria.     tea,         burnt toast,      and crumpets an 𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 away.     a hazy,      𝚕𝚊𝚣𝚢 morning feels universe’s away.  

     surly and soured,      an expression 𝐩𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝.      lips pursuing an ever thinning line.       backed only by cowls of flaming embers.     pited and broiling,     dark hues 𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑚.                                       every wretched second of a too long life written amongst an ash.  

      they’d come for him.      he’d lead them 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎.       planetary ankle biters,    bound at feet       gnawing,     and nashing.      dragging a coattails till he’d stopped.      all that chatting,       laughing,     𝚍𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐.      they’d caught up.      nashing canines only more enamoured by the chase,       turned frenzied,    and 𝑟𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑜𝑢𝑠.    devouring all in a path,     caring nary for the fall out they’re rained.  

     hunting a fever dreamed fountain of youth.     a golden thread of life,       all the fairytales of the stars.             till they’d seen 𝒉𝒊𝒎. 

             (          they’d stoped them.     late.     𝚝𝚘𝚘 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎.     but,     they were 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞.       )

            ❝      I’m old enough to know that a 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 life,  isn’t always a 𝚋𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚛 one.       ❞

she couldn’t remember what he was saying, when she decided to shush him in a very inventive way. he must’ve been rambling over something about the TARDIS, as clara finally grabbed onto his hand, tugging him close and pressing her lips against his in a sudden but soft kiss. much better.

“i’ve found you.” she was grinning. there was pride in herself, of course, because she had been trying to find the timelord who had disappeared out of thin air. perhaps she was being pushy - the doctor could’ve just moved on. but his departure had left a sour taste in her mouth, he had left with what seemed to be a pained goodbye, and there was no reason to. she didn’t want him to go. “why did you leave?”
