Fucking green ass loser built like a twig x his beautiful amazing pink and purple chubby wife who has to scold him like a child and probably does weed on the weekends
(Forgot to add, most likely she’s either the same height or slightly taller than Faba)
Found an amazing—and incredibly prolific—artist for Fabwicke as well as individual Faba & Wicke material (he’s her favorite subject), plus other Pokemon stuff. It’s just flustrating because most of it (1600+ pieces from prior to whatever date Twitter would scroll back to) is on this Pixiv site, which seems very limiting. Everything is in these dozens of sets of up to 200 pics each, and all you can do is bookmark the sets—nothing with individual images.

Did a pinboard with the very best ones from Twitter, but since they’re just the very tippy-top of the iceberg, I had to make boatloads of notes for myself to be able to quickly find some of my hundreds of faves. [ https://sassysaluki.blogspot.com/2025/06/the-fabwicking-pt-i.html ] O.o I mean there’ve gotta be 90, 100+ Fabwickey ones alone, not counting all the manga pages.
Fabwicke is one of the most beautiful, perfect, compelling, so-close-to-canon obvious ships in the entirety of Pokemon. (Hell, of the universe!) Not so much every version of him, maybe…certainly not manga!Faba, who’s pretty irredeemable due to being so madly in love/lust with Lusamine that he actually shoves Mohn through the wormhole and later has Plumeria try to kill Lusie for rejecting him. *o* (Like I buy the infatuation and jealousy, but not to a murderous degree—and not even to the extent that he wouldn’t still be genuinely happy for them.) His original character concept also pretty much describes a total and complete a-hole in various ways (you can recognize him but wow), and he seems like more of a devious jerk in the games. It’s still very possible there, though. But thankfully the anime saw fit to give the poor dude a break. Maybe once upon a time Wicke seemed too young and/or annoying to be interested in—but no more. ‘Specially now that they spend more time together. ;3 They’re a splendid match. I was pissed when Olivia caught Burnet’s bouquet ‘cause it was like “Oh come on, we know what the next wedding’s gonna be—and Istg everybody better actually dress tf up!”
Re: the name:
I call it Fabwicke because their names combine so perfectly that I’ve honestly never considered anything else.
Fricke is funny but it’d actually be Ficke or Fwicke (like Goldendoodle should be Goldenoodle, lol.)
“Aethership” isn’t clear enough as to whom is meant.
The “___shipping” convention I find to be somewhat confusing after pokeship+rocketship+neoship. “Beanshipping”* or “BranchChiefShipping” would be suitable alternatives though, if one wished to employ that style.
“WickedFabalousShipping” is fun and creative but a real mouthful. xD
For pairs whose names splice well (as some of my pokemon ships do), I think that’s optimal since it’s clearer and may be generally easier to say/spell/write.
*”Legumeshipping?” I notice that the botanical namesakes of family Lusamohn are all actually in different families. As opposed to Wicke’s—genus Vicia of family Fabaceae, containing the broad/fava/faba bean, V. faba. In other words, they simply belong to one another in the deepest way. /)^,3,^(\
(NOW IF ONLY THEY HAD OFFICIAL FIRST NAMES!!!)
Oh yeah, this artist is REALLY good. https://www.deviantart.com/no1wantsthisname/favourites/101782247/fabwicke
