I’m not patient enough for season 2
Hi everyone! After a busy finals season, getting married, a month taken off for ArtFight, and finally a surgery, I am ready to return the "The Merchless Bracket 01: Adventure Time/Fionna and Cake" project!
I was unhappy with Betty's pin for a long time, but I've finally finished the design to the point where I'm pretty happy with it. The problem is: it now no longer fits the same aesthetic as the Fern pin I designed previously.
So I ask you all: should I make Fern's pin fancier, or should I simplify Betty's? I want them to all be relatively the same style. Not to mention, if we stuck with Betty's style, I would likely have to make the pins bigger, around 3"x3", which would likely be far more expensive, especially taking the danglies into account.
Fancier Fern, or Simpler Betty/Magic Betty?
Make Fern Fancier (Danglies, Bigger Size, and All!)
Simplify Betty/Magic Betty (Smaller Size, Cleaner Aesthetic)
A Secret Third Option (Keep Both As They Are)

Teasing the sketch for Betty’s pin for Merchless Bracket 01: Adventure Time/Fionna and Cake! Betty/Magic Betty got second place in MB01, so now that Fern’s design is done, I’m finally working on Betty’s! This pin is going to have dangling attachments and glitter! Fun fact! Betty’s pin will match Simon’s (who got fifth place).
