My father’s dream was to someday open his own bookstore. He worked three jobs for most of his life, one was driving a truck, delivering paperback books and magazines to stores all over the state. He used to spend his nights off reading and listening to am radio. We may not have agreed on a lot of stuff, but he’s definitely inspired me to live life surrounded my tons (and tons!) of books. These days, I spend some serious time on my phone (and my laptop) but one of my plans for the new year is to read a book a week.
