hello pete, you recently answered an ask of mine about the boy that I thought liked me because he told me my name was pretty and that he likes my hair. thank you so much for the advice!! that gave me the extra boost I needed to go talk to this guy, but I'm really shy. so I saw him at karate class yesterday and he didn't say a word to me. I saw him looking at me a few times during class and I was planning on asking him for his number at the end of class but got so nervous please tag 417tw

I hope the advice continues to help!  There's no rush to officially ask him out or anything!  But from everything you've said so far, it does sound like this dude is into you.  Good luck!

One strategy, since you mentioned karate class, is to kick him RIGHT IN THE FACE, and then when he's down on the mat, dazed, ask him out.  That is super romantic!

Please don't actually do that.  BUT!  If you need some help figuring out what to say, you could try, "Hi, so I kind of wanted to see if you want to hang out some time.  I told someone I was nervous and he said I should kick you in the face and then ask for your phone number while you're down on the mat..."  That should get a laugh and it's a memorable way for someone to ask you out.  You don't need to do that, but that line would work on me.  :P
